Functional Skills

AlphaPlus has a number of active projects in support of Functional Skills (read our case study) including the provision of:

  • ongoing support for City and Guilds by producing a number of Functional Skills test papers in ICT, English and mathematics, as well as review services in English and ICT. This is in support of City and Guilds’ September 2010 roll-out of Functional Skills to their test centre network
  • the authoring of Functional Skills ICT test papers for the NCFE pilot tests taking place in Summer 2010
  • subject specialists in English, mathematics and ICT to QCDA to support the review of Awarding Organisation submissions for accreditation in Functional Skills.
